It’s really satisfying to see and Improv troupe that know what they’re doing. Parrallelophonograph perform genre based improvisation, and they do it well! They’ve been performing together for six years and it shows. Lots of laughter and none of the basic mistakes that can so easily screw up long form improv.

Grimm
For show number three we performed Grimm. It was probably our best received show so far! There was an enthusiastic audience that thanked us afterwards, and laughed throughout. Tales of wizards, elves, rat chefs, Jesus Christ, magical tranformations and more.
Valerie and Roy are up on our “day off” to go to a workshop on selling your show at the Fringe.

We have safely landed back in Austin. Onward to the Improvised Play Festival, this weekend at the Hideout.

Our first Screwball show of PIF is done! It was a great time. We saw into the life of Joe, a tailor whose life seemed charmed, even though he lost his job in the first scene. Throw in a dog, a dumb friend, a depressed bartender, a geriatric Mayor, a bedridden mother, a belligerent father, an independent lady love interest, a refined butler, a kid named Sparky, and a mousy secretary, and...
